Coming from off campus?

From Santa Cruz: Take Highway 1 South until you see the the Fort Ord/CSUMB Main Campus exit. Take the exit and keep going straight to Gen. Jim Moore Blvd. then turn left.

From Salinas: Take S. Davis Road or W. Blanco Road to Reservation Road. Head west on Reservation until you hit Imjin Road and turn left onto Imjin. Follow that until a stop sign at 8th Street; turn right. Then, turn left onto 4th Avenue. The BBC will be on the right, just before 3rd Street.

From Gilroy/South Bay: Take 101 South to 156 West. Take 156 West to Hwy. 1 South. Take Highway 1 South until you see the the Fort Ord/CSUMB Main Campus exit. Take the exit and keep going straight to Gen. Jim Moore Blvd. then turn left.

From Carmel/Monterey: Take Highway 1 North until you see the the Fort Ord/CSUMB Main Campus exit. Take the exit and keep going straight to Gen. Jim Moore Blvd. then turn left.

stickers & stencils

I'd really like to start playing with designs and looking into good quality sticker paper or learning how to make stencils... The only thing is that I'd be REALLY tempted to show my stuff off on Xanga or on my Flickr... And that would be a problem since it's... well, not exactly legal to go around slapping stickers and spraying designs all over the place.

Hrm. I'll just have to stick with taking photos of other peoples' work for now...

We got to the venue early in the afternoon to set up...




It was around 7:30 when we finally had everything (the audio, visuals, etc) up and running.




Joe (aka Giuseppe Paolo) had VJ duties this evening. He did a freaking badass job, and will be showing me how to use the app + controller he used so we can switch off in future events (so he won't be trapped back there the whole night like he was for this event).






First up on the decks, MinceyFresh (aka yours truly)!








Megabyte Mike followed after me.








3rd up to bat were The Ghettotechnicians (aka DJ S0ulFree & Mr. Tyler Jackson). Their set was when people started showing up in full force! The dance floor had so much energy!










Headlining the event was Durty!








All of the DJs of the evening...



The turnout for the event was great, and I can definitely say it was a success.
Thanks to everyone who showed up and made the event what it was!

I CANNOT WAIT for the next one (which will be Thursday, March the 27th)! Don't miss it!
